The Story of Jacob(Israel) & Esau in the Hebrew Scriptures Jubilees by Isaiah Simmons

Now it’s imperative that this story be told being that these two bloodlines lay out one of the most major prophecies in biblical history. This is the story of the bloodline that the most high not only chose but blessed forever and the bloodline that he hated. In Romans 9:13 it states, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated”. Now it’s been ordained since the beginning of time by the lord that it is the seed of Jacob that he will chose to be his firstborn. It was told to Moses on the mount while giving him the commandments. As you can see in chapter 2 verses 19 thru 21 of the book of jubilees it states the following, -And He said unto us: "Behold, I will separate unto Myself a people from among all the peoples, and these will keep the Sabbath day, and I will sanctify them unto Myself as My people and will bless them; as I have sanctified the Sabbath day and do sanctify (it) unto Myself, even so shall I bless them, and they will be My people and I shall be their God.20)And I have chosen the seed of Jacob from among all that I have seen, and have written him down as My firstborn son, and have sanctified him unto Myself forever and ever; and I will teach them the Sabbath day, that they may keep Sabbath thereon from all work."

21) And thus He created therein a sign in accordance with which they should keep Sabbath with us on the seventh day, to cat and to drink, and to bless Him who has created all things as He has blessed and sanctified unto Himself a peculiar people above all peoples and that they should keep Sabbath together with us. Now Jacob and Esau were children to Isaac and Rebecca, now it is also important that we know that they were also twins, polar opposites. From the womb it was known that they would be two nations. It was said to Rebecca by the lord in Genesis 25 verse 23, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” Not only this but at their birth prophecy was made and not many people catch it, but you can see here as it states in 4 Ezra whilst Ezra conversed with the lord verses 6 thru 9, Then did I consider these things, and they all were made through me alone, and through none other: by me also they shall be ended, and by none other. 7) Then answered I and said, What shall be the parting asunder of the times? or when shall be the end of the first, and the beginning of it that followeth? 8) And he said unto me, 9) From Abraham unto Isaac, when Jacob and Esau were born of him, Jacob's hand held first the heel of Esau. For Esau is the end of the world, and Jacob is the beginning of it that followeth.

Let me just repeat that, FOR ESAU IS THE END OF THE WORLD AND JACOB IS THE BEGINNING OF IT THAT FOLLOWETH. To put that in simpler terms Esau is the current world that we live in and the eternal world that follows the death of Esau’s world is Jacob(Israel). Now with that being said let us begin with their history so that we may now see this prophecy begin play out. It was in the sixth week , in the second year that the twins were born. It states that Esau came out red and hairy as for Jacob he came out clean and smooth. It is said that while the children grew up at early ages, they were shown to be on two completely different paths in life. Esau was a fierce young man who loved hunting and being in the field as for Jacob, he was a smooth, calm young man who loved reading and writing. While Jacob was gaining knowledge and wisdom Esau was learning war. And Abraham seeing this knew that it would be Jacob to carry his name and holy seed. Abraham loved Jacob as Isaac favored Esau, as for Rebecca she favored Jacob as Abraham did. For this Abraham gave Rebecca specific instructions on what to do with Jacob.

Reference chapter 19 verses 17 thru 25 of the book of jubilees, -And he said unto her: "My daughter, watch over my son Jacob, for he shall be in my stead on the earth, and for a blessing in the midst of the children of men, and for the glory of the whole seed of Shem. 18) For I know that the Lord will choose him to be a people for possession unto Himself, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth. 19) And behold, Isaac my son loves Esau more than Jacob, but I see that you truly love Jacob. 20) Add still further to your kindness to him, and let your eyes be upon him in love; For he will be a blessing unto us on the carth from now on and unto all generations of the earth. 21) Let your hands be strong and let your heart rejoice in your son Jacob; For I have loved him far beyond all my sons. He will be blessed forever, and his seed will fill the whole carth. 22) If a man can number the sand of the earth, His seed also will be numbered. 23) And all the blessings with which the Lord has blessed me, and my seed shall belong to Jacob and his seed always. 24) And in his seed shall my name be blessed, and the name of my fathers, Shem, and Noah, and Enoch, and Mahalalel, and Enos, and Seth, and Adam. 25) And these shall serve to lay the foundations of the heaven, and to strengthen the earth, and to renew all the luminaries which are in the firmament." He called Jacob to him and blessed him and said to him, “Jacob, my beloved son, whom my soul loves, may God bless you from above the firmament, and may He give you all the blessings with which He blessed Adam, and Enoch, and Noah, and Shem; and all the things of which He told me, and all the things which He promised to give me, may He cause to cleave to you and to your seed forever, according to the days of heaven above the earth.

And the spirits of Mastêma shall not rule over you or over your seed to turn you from the Lord, who is your God from now on and forever. And may the Lord God be a father to you and you the first-born son,and to the people always. Go in peace, my son.” Following this in the 42nd jubilee in the first year of the seventh week Abraham called to him all of his grandchildren and began to teach them the commandments given to him so that may observe the way of the lord and live a righteous life. Examples of these ordonnances were as follows, the circumcision of all their sons, sustaining and keeping themselves from all fornication and uncleanness, and for them to not take to themselves wives from the daughters of Canaan. By the way if you didn't know, the seed of Canaan was cursed by the Lord to be rooted out of the land. also taught them of the judgment of the giants, the sodomites and how they had been judged on account of all their wickedness and uncleanness. And he said to them, "And guard yourselves from all fornication and uncleanness, and from all pollution of sin, lest you make our name a curse, and your whole life a hissing, and all your sons be destroyed by the sword, and you become accursed like Sodom, and all your remnant as the sons of Gomorrah.

I implore you, my sons, love the God of heaven, and cleave you to all His commandments. And walk not after their idols, and after their uncleanness, and make not for yourselves molten or graven gods; For they are vanity, and there is no spirit in them; For they are work of (men's) hands, and all who trust in them, trust in nothing. Serve them not, nor worship them, but serve you the Most High God, and worship Him continually: And hope for His countenance always, and work uprightness and righteousness before Him, That He may have pleasure in you and grant you His mercy, and send rain upon you morning and evening, and bless all your works which you have wrought upon the earth, and bless your bread and your water, and bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, and the herds of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep. And you will be for a blessing on the earth, and all nations of the earth will desire you, and bless your sons in my name, that they may be blessed as I am." Now in the 44th jubilee Abraham passed but before he passed he blessed Jacob once more saying, “My son, over whom with all my heart and my affection I rejoice, may your grace and your mercy be lift up upon him and upon his seat always. And do not forsake him, nor set him at nothing from now on and on to the days of eternity, and may your eyes be opened upon him and upon his seed, that you may preserve him, and bless him, and may sanctify him as a nation for your inheritance; And bless him with all your blessings from now on and unto all the days of eternity, and renew your covenant and your grace with him and with his seed according to all your good pleasure unto all the generations of the earth”. (Book of Jubilees-Chapter 22, verses 28 through 30). And it came to pass after the death of Abraham that the Lord blessed Isaac his son.

Now during the third week of this same jubilee prophecy was fulfilled. This would be the time when Esau would sell his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup and bread. It says in the holy text that Esau came from the field hungry and said to Jacob for him to give him some red pottage. Now Jacob said to Esau for him to sell him his birthright in exchange for bread and pottage. The crazy thing is Esau said to himself in his heart that either way he will die and of what profit is the birthright to him, and with that being said he said to Jacob and I quote, “I give it to you”. And Jacob made him swear it and so it was done, Jacob preceded to give his brother bread and pottage. For Esau despised his birthright and for this very reason was Esau’s name called Edom(Edom-Rome{for reference}). Now all that was left to be done was for Isaac to give Jacob the Lord's blessing before he dies. Now in order for this to be done Rebecca formed a plan.

She overheard Isaac saying to Esau, “I am old, my son, and behold my eyes are dim and seeing, and I know not the day of my death. And now take your hunting weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and hunt and catch me (venison), my son, and make me savory meat, such as my soul loves, and bring it to me that I may, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”(Book of Jubilee Chapter 26 verses 1 and 2). Now while it's always out hunting she called Jacob and told him what his father Isaac told his brother to do, and of the blessing. She commanded him to go to his flock and fetch her two good kids of the goats, and that she will make the savory meat and have him bring it to his father before Esau was to return. But you see Jacob was scared that his father would recognize his voice and wish to feel him to assure that it was Esau, as we know Esau was hairy as Jacob was smooth. not only that but he did not want to be recognized and seen in the eyes of his father as an evildoer and that he would be angry with him and that he would bring upon himself a curse instead of a blessing. Now Rebecca reassured Jacob and said to him that upon her shall be his curse and that he must obey to her voice. With that being said he obeyed the voice of his mother and did as she told him.

He went and fetched the two goats and brought them back to his mother, and she prepared the savory meat in which Isaac loved. Now to be sure he wasn't recognized by touch Rebecca clothed Jacob and put the skins of the goats on his hands and the exposed portions of his neck. this was done so that if Isaac were to ask to feel Jacob skin he would feel the same hairy skin that Esau has. And he was given the bread and meat to give to Isaac his father and continue to do as he was told. He approached his father and said to him, “I am your son: I have done according as you commanded me: arise and sit and eat of that which I have caught, father, that your soul may bless me”. (Book of Jubilees chapter 26 verse 13). now Isaac became suspicious and asks Jacob how he caught it so quickly and Jacob exclaimed to his father that it was the Lord's doing. But Isaac was still a little bit suspicious and asked Jacob to come near to him so that he may feel him to see if he is Esau his son or not. He preceded to go near to his father to allow him to feel him, and Isaac said aloud, “This is the voice of Jacob but the hands of Esau”. With that said being that it was a dispensation from heaven to remove his power of perception, Isaac discerned not as he felt the hairy hands of who he thought to be Esau and blessed him.

After eating the meat that was brought to him and drinking the wine brought to him as well he asked for his son to come near and kiss him. Now we could see here in the following scripture that while kissing his father it allowed his father to smell the remnant of the goats hair that was on Jacob which smelled of the field, which was further confirmation for Isaac that it was indeed his son Esau. Reference verses 21 through 25 from chapter 26 of the book of jubilees, -and Isaac, his father, said unto him: “Come near and kiss me, my son.” and he came near and kissed him. 22) and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and he blessed him and said: “Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a(full) field which the Lord has blessed. 23) And may the Lord give you of the dew of heaven and of the dew of the earth, and plenty of corn and oil: Let nations serve you, and peoples bow down to you. 24) be Lord over your brethren and let your mother son’s bow down to you; and may all the blessings with which the Lord has blessed me and Abraham, my father, be imparted to you and your seed forever cursed be he that curses you, and blessed be he that ble
